White Marble

Aligudarz white marble is extracted in a city of the same name in western Iran. This city has several white marble quarries that have different patterns.
The marbles of Aligudarz are very similar to the stones extracted from the quarries of Carrara in Italy. The background of these marbles varies from white to gray and blue and its veins are very diverse.
These marbles have different applications, they can be used both indoors and outdoors, they can be used in landscaping and they are also used for floors. One of the most important uses of this stone is in the kitchen, countertop and bathroom.

Spider White Marble
This stone is one of the marbles and has several quarries in the northwestern part of the Zagros Mountains of Iran. Aligudarz spider marble with white background and beautiful black veins, which is very similar to Italian Arbascato marble.
Appearance and texture of stone
It has a white background through which gray to black grains with wide branches have passed.
This marble is a metamorphic carbonate stone; If the stone has undergone weak dynamic metamorphism, it will have fewer veins, but if it undergoes more severe dynamic metamorphism during various stages, it will in fact be considered a fault shear stone.
Physical, mechanical and chemical characteristics of Aligudarz spider white marble
Water absorption of this marble is very limited so it has a low probability of staining.. Therefore, it is suitable for use in wet rooms and countertops. The veins in the texture of this marble are large in size, so for their better and more attractive appearance, is mostly used as a slab and in book match and four-match designs for the interior of luxury buildings.

Since this marble is mostly used indoors, it is not so affected by  freezing of water, but if it is used in the exterior of cold areas, if the background of the marble has many veins, gradually water penetrates into it, eventually continuous cycles of melting and freezing of water cause marble destruction; For this reason, varieties of spider marble with fewer veins will have better durability.

The durability of this stone against salt crystallization is similar to melting and freezing water. However, this stone can be vulnerable in the face of various acids because the calcite mineral boils in contact with the acid, and this condition can have negative effects on the surface of the stone. Therefore, different acidic detergents should not be used continuously to wash this stone.
Due to the relatively low hardness of calcite ores, the abrasion resistance of this stone is also low and it is better not to use it as a floor material in busy places.
The compressive, tensile and flexural strengths of this marble depend on the type and amount of veins in it. In high vein types, the cohesion of the marble is less and the stone may be damaged by the same veins under different stresses. Therefore, the use of marble vein stone is not recommended in situations that are under constant stress.
Spider White Marble has excellent polishing ability and can achieve shiny polish.
